I'm a member of the Central Alberta Photographic Society here in Red Deer. Well actually I'm the editor of the newsletter as well. We get monthly assignments to get us out shooting stuff that is different so one of the assignments is "grafitti". I found this grain car at one of the elevators on the north end of Red Deer but the black and white conversion looked pretty cool. This was shot with my 40D, Tamron 18-250 lens.

Night photos of Bower Ponds, Red Deer
Sue and myself did a walk around Bower Ponds in Red Deer last night. It was a really nice fall evening so we took the cameras and tripod and did some night pictures. I borrowed Sue's 1D mk2 and a 50mm F1.8 lens for these pics. The big old house is the Cronquist House and used to be the other side of the river. It was moved some years and relocated to it's current postion.
Enjoy,
Dave

Welcome to my blog!!!
Hi to you all and welcome to my new blog. I have been inspired to start this by one of the ladies at my local camera shop after seeing her pictures from Ireland post on a blog. I have just returned from a trip to England to see my family so I thought this would be a good way to share some of the pictures. It's going to take me a few days to get the pictures up on here as there are a few to go through.
